Anti-Christ Male or Female?

I have been thinking about this for the last few days now and I thought I should write about it. The bible talks about the Antichrist and such in the Book or Revelations.

There’s always been a lot of buzz about what exactly the Book of Revelations means or what is to be taken literal and what is to be taken metaphorical. However, I think the gender of the AntiChrist is something that we can guess on and not have to worry about it being questioned as far as real or not.

The AntiChrist is to be the opposite of Christ, obviously, hence the Anti part at the front of the name. If Christ is positive, faithful, the way to salvation AND a man then the AntiChrist would be negative, unfaithful, the way to condemnation, AND why not female?

Granted this is all just speculation here. There are people who have already said that the AntiChrist is someone like Barack Obama or Nancy Pelosi. I won’t go that far as to say someone is the AntiChrist.

However, we can’t say for sure if it will be a man or a woman. Just something to think about. What do you think?
