A Testimony In My Life

~Brandon James Scott Scholl

I was talking with Royalynne earlier and I told her about two people that I am quite proud of and I consider siblings.

When I met these two guys one was a total computer addict and the other did nothing but doodle all day. They were both total dorks with no lives and didn’t understand half the things I said or talked about. One’s passion was to be an artist. The other, wanted to be smart. I saw great potential in both as well as I knew that they had some growing up to do and I enjoyed their company. So I cheered the artist on in his art. He’ll be doing art live at a fashion show this summer and getting paid for it as well as teaching himself 3D art and animation. Plus, he just teaches himself and studies other artists.

The other wanted to play an instrument or do something to make his life interesting. So, he asked if I thought he would be successful at the violin. I told him he would be great and sure enough, he’s self-taught and he’s playing music that would be from the Lord of the Rings or Pirates of the Caribbean. He and his brother both are smarter in their intelligence because of school and application. They know basic bible quite well when necessary and one has even had some interesting conversations with me that impressed me such as with atheists. The other went to a youth group once, listened to some guest speaker at the group and knew he was teaching crap, and talked to the guy after. Totally caught the guy off guard but the guy didn’t know what to say to him. He told me that it was because of the religious things we talk about all the time.

I praise God and thank Him for being a part of the lives of these two and being able to help and uplift them when I can.

I now help the artist copyright, publish, and come up with other ideas to get his work out there and get noticed. His skills practically enhance and advance overnight.
The musician is now a part of a worship team at a home school co-op and plays violin in front of people to better his performance skills while continuing to improve on his violin. He has gone through book after book that teaches him how to improve his playing as well as how to play in general.

Who are these two up and coming stars in the arts? The Artist is Justin Buus. The Musician is Joseph Buus. I am proud of both of them in their achievements and am honored to call them my friends. If you would like to see Justin’s artwork, you can see it here: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=48040&id=1569512584
