~Brandon James Scott Scholl
When you think about your past do you ever remember someone that you hurt? Someone that you wish you could go back and apologize for your idiocy?
When I think about all of the people in my past that hear my name today there are two types of answers I think of. There’s the one where they either don’t remember me because I didn’t make enough of an imprint on that part of my life that they were around or the thought of disgust or hatred and strong emotion of pain. I’m not talking about someone I beat up or anything in school. I’m talking about something that may have happened in a friendship or a relationship from the past. Something that didn’t turn out well and people got hurt. I hadn’t realized any what this totally meant until things started happening to me. That’s when I started to realize things. Realize that there were times that people had been hurt because of what my own agenda was just to be someone that fit in with everyone else. I’m referring more to my days when I was in public school and the years I was part of Idaho Virtual Academy.
There were people that I manipulated, stepped on, and did things to just for the sake of the respect of people who didn’t even matter at all. If any of you who are reading this and I’ve done this to I am truly sorry. Over the last three years alot has happened in my life that changed my view on everything. Granted, there are times that I do things that hurt people but not to make them feel completely worthless but to challenge them to reach their full potential as an individual.
My challenge to people from this is remember the things that you can’t take back. The things that you said, did, and were supposed to do but didn’t. Make the rest of your life change that and rise above it. Become the person that you are meant to be in life. Become the leader for the people around you and your generation. I have been told by numerous people around me that I am a leader and an inspiration to not only people within my generation and my friends but also to their parents and adults that know me or have heard of me. Everybody needs someone to look up to. Granted, there are people out there that think I’m a total egotistical jerk with nothing better to do than make people’s lives miserable. However, for them to feel that way when I bring up scripture or challenge something that they claim or believe in, that means that they feel condemnation for it. So, what are they doing that they feel guilty about?
I am the last of a dying breed not only within my generation but also within today’s world. My generation is going to be the one that is to fight all of the monsters that are growing now and going to fight against the oncoming storm that is brewing and heading straight for us. Whether it’s politically, physically, or judicially it has to be done. It’s going to hit and we’re going to have to stay strong and prepare ourselves now. D-Day is coming for all of us and the enemy is going to do whatever he can to break us down and destroy us. We have to be able to rise against it and destroy him. I’m doing what I can with what I have. What about you?
