Helping People In Our Future

~Brandon James Scott Scholl

About a month or so ago I sent an email out to about a third of the iSucceed student body. Over the past month I have met all sorts of people from various places around Idaho with different backgrounds and walks of life. One question, however, sparked something. I was asked what do I do to help people? This was something that I thought I had a straight answer to all the time. There numerous people not only from my school but in my circle of friends that ask me for help with either things they’re dealing with or decisions they are having a hard time making. The more I thought about it the more I thought of it a different way though. My sights are set on going through law school and then getting into politics. My entire class schedule is set up to get me to that goal. With that being my goal I realized something, why can’t be helping people now by preparing and training to go into that form of work later in my life? Preparing for that future now is, in a way of perspective, helping people because at that time when I will be tested and get into that arena I’ll be helping people.
