Traditional Jews going to Heaven or Hell Now?

~Brandon James Scott Scholl

In the old testament the Jews are referred to as “God’s People.” However, the bible later says that the way to be saved is to believe in Jesus Christ being the Son of God and to get to the father you must go through Jesus. So, the question is this: What happens to Jews who believe in traditional jewish doctrine when they die?

First, let’s look at what the bible says.

In Romans 10:9, it says: “Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Now, it’s just like what it says. You claim that Jesus is Lord and truly believe in your heart.

Now, here’s the problem with this. The Jews today that believe that Jesus was not the Messiah and say that Jesus is not Lord. They will simply say that Jesus was either a great teacher or that there was no way He was the Messiah. Not only do they claim there were Messianic prophecies that were not fulfilled by Christ but they also claim that when Jesus came onto the scene of things He wasn’t a prophet because prophecy had already ended in the world.

So, I believe that if you believe in traditional Jewish doctrine today regarding belief that Jesus is not the Messiah then you are essentially not saved. You can’t expect to be saved by going against what the bible says. Those of you believing there are numerous ways to get into heaven, I would suggest reading the bible.
